Larry Bittle
Head Coach
Coach Larry Bittle will be entering into his initial season as head coach of the women’s volleyball program at Southwestern Christian University in the fall of 2010. Bittle came to SCU from Corn Bible Academy where he coached volleyball from 1997-2009. During his tenure there, he led his team to the 4-A State Volleyball Tournament eight times. In 1999, Coach Bittle was selected as the 4-A State Volleyball Coach of the Year as well as chosen to be the head coach for the west squad in the Oklahoma 4-A All-State game. Bittle also has had the honor of having coached 12 All-State players throughout his 12 years at Corn Bible.

Now, Bittle will bring his enthusiasm and competitiveness to SCU as, together, he and the Lady Eagles will have the opportunity to take on the MCAC conference this fall. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the volleyball program at Southwestern Christian and encourages and pushes his players to play at an elevated level.

Coach Bittle and his wife, Teresa, have three children: Brandon, Nicolas, and Marni.
