Welcome to Southwestern Christian University.  It is with great joy and anticipation to welcome not only our new students but returning students as well.  We anticipate a great school year.  Each year brings new and exciting opportunities for Spiritual, Intellectual, Social, and Physical growth.  We intentionally offer a unique community atmosphere that is rooted in Biblical principles and values that are foundational to the success and growth of each student.  Moreover, it is our desire for each student to gain valuable knowledge, discipline, and growth in all the significant areas of life (ie. spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical).

Therefore, we believe you chose SCU because God has a unique plan for your life which involves attending SCU, and by doing so, you are being obedient to God’s call on your life.  We believe by choosing SCU, you will reach your professional and spiritual goals which align with the mission of this great University.  We are in the business of training competent, servant leaders to impact the community and the world.  The college years can be both challenging and rewarding.  You will be required to work hard; however, your efforts in and outside the classroom will be rewarded through patience, persistence and perseverance.
