Diagnostic/Counseling Services

The Counseling and Diagnostic Center offers a variety of services to all students. The director of the center is a licensed professional counselor. Full-time students may use these services without charge. Counseling is available on an individual basis for students who are experiencing personal or relationship challenges which can be facilitated by conversation therapy.

When students struggle with particular courses, they can come to the Diagnostic Center for evaluation, assessment, and prescriptive direction. They may come on their own initiative, or may be referred by a professor.

Aptitude, achievement, and attention instruments can be administered on an individual level and can be scheduled when necessary. There are also several personality tests which are available to all students upon their request. Many students enjoy learning about their personality types and make use of this privilege.
