Southwestern Christian University believes that learning takes place both in and out of the classroom. Student Life Department
The
mission of the Student Development department of Southwestern Christian University
is to support and
cooperate with the spiritual and educational goals of the
institution by providing opportunities for spiritual, social,
emotional, physical, academic development and growth of each
student.
Since
participation in an academic community, particularly a Christian
one carries with it unique and demanding responsibilities we
want all of our students to understand and accept their role
within the community. The community standard is one that depends
on integrity, respect, personal accountability and concern for
interpersonal relationships. It is the
expectation that every member of the community demonstrates a
