Birth Parents
Each birth mother is treated with dignity and respect with no judgments made or pressure exerted, regardless of their decision. Because every woman is encouraged to design a plan that meets her child's best interests, no two adoptions are alike at Deaconess Home. However, one aspect that is the same for all birth mothers is their view of them: courageous, selfless women who truly have a mother's heart.

Their beginning words and initial steps will thrill you. The joys of parenthood are truly wonderful. But the adoption journey can, at times, be difficult. You've heard the stories. The process can be exciting, frustrating, emotionally draining and time consuming . . . all at once. It can create many questions and fears.
