Brief Job Description: Novo Ministries is seeking passionate, energetic young people to consider a staff position within our organization. We are a local, faith-based, non-profit organization that connects volunteers and churches with inner-city communities in the greater Oklahoma City area. During the school year, we help facilitate weekly Bible Clubs that are targeted specifically at the elementary-age boys and girls who live in these communities. In addition to weekly programming, we develop curriculum and training, as well as facilitate a limited number of daily programs. We believe that the individuals in inner-city communities have many needs, but their greatest need is the need we all possess – to experience the hope and life-change that comes from having a relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that it is through concerned individuals and churches going into the communities, building relationships, and sharing this message, that this life-change takes place.

The Site Coordinator will oversee and supervise one daily programming site. The Site Coordinator’s responsibilities include leading a staff team, overseeing daily programming, interacting with parents and children, coordinating with volunteers and partnering organizations, ongoing communication with supervisor, oversight of supplies and materials, serving as a Boy Scout/Girl Scout leader, providing oversight of snacks and cleaning, potentially assisting with tutoring and curriculum development, and most importantly, preparing for and teaching God’s Word to inner-city boys and girls on a daily basis. Applicants for this position should desire variety in their responsibilities – administrative, office, leadership, teaching, and hands-on work with the children. Applicants should have strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Initial and on-going support and training are substantial for anyone selected to join our team as a Site Coordinator.
