SCU 'inks' Northwest's Chris Galindo

Chris Galindo, an All State soccer player from Northwest Classen High School, recently signed a letter of intent to play soccer for SCU. "Chris is a strong, gifted player," said Eagles Coach Neil Cagle. "We're looking for him to have a great career for us. He's not just talented, but he neverm gives up possession of the ball, the kind of guy that makes other players around him better."
Cagle would add, "Were looking to build a deep squad. The kind of team that can sustain the bumps and bruises of the season and not see a let down. The guys we're signing are top quality players and students."
SCU finished 16-5 last season, Cagle's first at the helm, upsetting several higher ranked teams in the process. SCU looks to make an impact in the Midlands Conference, their first in the NAIA.
