One distinct resource that is provided by Southwestern Christian University is the "REAL MINISTRIES" core group program, which is in place to support and encourage students in their faith journey.  The core groups are primarily student led under the supervision of the Office of Spiritual Life. 

It is our intention to disciple students through an "in" reach ministry and commission students through "out" reach ministry.  By reaching "in" and reaching "out", our goal is to inspire students to build RELATIONSHIPS, strive for EXCELLENCE, form ACCOUNTIBILITY, and develop spiritual habits, all of which we believe are essential for servant LEADERSHIP.
