National Internships are available year round at Project Vote Smart’s Great Divide Ranch. Take an active role in politics and help defend citizens from the manipulative tactics of self-serving, issueless campaigns. Interns answer our Voter’s Research Hotline (1-888-VOTE-SMART), collect performance evaluations, research background information, perform legislative research, and administer our Political Courage Test. We also offer internships in an information technology position. Several other positions are available. Qualifications:
We seek college students or recent graduates who are genuinely interested in working to accomplish our goal of making factual, unbiased political information easily and freely accessible to all. The overriding qualification for securing an internship position is your willingness to commit 100% to the Project's goals and mission. In addition, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Set aside personal and political beliefs, be objective and non-partisan while working.
2. Be in good standing with your college/university.
3. Commit to 10 consecutive 40-hour work weeks.
4. Remember that our research facility is located in an extraordinarily beautiful but remote area. You will be expected to help maintain the facility.
