Brief Job Description: Novo Ministries is seeking passionate, energetic young people to consider a staff position within our organization. We are a local, faith-based non-profit organization that connects volunteers and churches with inner-city communities in the greater Oklahoma City area. During the school year, we help facilitate weekly Bible Clubs that are targeted specifically at the elementary-age boys and girls who live in these communities. We believe that the individuals in inner-city communities have many needs, but their greatest need is to experience the hope and life-change that comes from having a relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that it is through concerned individuals and churches going in to the communities, building relationships, and sharing this message, that this life-change takes place.
The Office Administrator will work closely with and report to Novo Ministries’ Executive Director. He or she will be responsible for database oversight and management, phone communication, scheduling, meeting records, various administrative tasks, purchasing, financial records and management, and oversight of basic office functions. He or she should have good phone skills, adequate typing abilities, and a familiarity with basic computer programs. The Office Administrator will need to be a self-starter, willing to take initiative, and meticulous to detail. Extensive training will be provided for this position.
Full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling options are available for many of our open positions. Contact us today to discuss your specific interests and strengths. Please contact Sarah Hunnicutt at shunnicutt@novoministries.org or 405-664-3964 to discuss this opportunity.
