Full and partime faculty are expected to attend commencement to support their students in their big moment.  Adjunct are encouraged but attendance is not mandatory.

Take these last moments to enjoy congratulating students, having photos taken, and celebrating with so many the achievement of a goal.

In the program only full and part time faculty will be listed.

Traditionally, the undergraduates celebrate in a special catered meal hosted by the school.  Recognitions and memories make this a looked forward to time for our graduates. Faculty are encouraged to attend, share memories and congratulate parents and students.  Faculty and staff memories of graduating seniors are collected and presented to them in a small booklet at this time.

Although the time of day make change, commencement will generally follow this order:

8:30 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. Faculty, students, and Board gather in the Patrick Building to don regalia.

9:20-9:30 a.m. Faculty and students go to the cafeteria for formal photos.

9:45 a.m. Students line up along the walls of the cafteria in the order they are listed in the commencement program. While this is occurring the Board, Administration, and others line up in the hall and front walk...

9:55 a.m. Students (Graduate, Ungraduate B.A., B.B.A., B.S., Associate of Arts)  follow the Board of Regents, President, Administration, and faculty...

10:00 a.m. Following the order of procession in the program, all march in to their assigned places.

11:30 a.m.-12:00 a.m. Ceremonies end. All recess from the building in reverse order of entry. Gather in front and be available for photos and fellowship.

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Return regalia to changing room.

Commencement marshalls will provide any additional information as needed.
