Brief Job Description: The Children’s Pastor would be responsible for the equpping and shepherding of the children ages 1st – 5th grades. They would conduct Sunday morning EARTHSHAKERS services to make it centered on God’s Word through His Spirit. These services would consist of at least worship, teaching, ministry, fellowship time and games. The Children’s Pastor would be responsible to assemble a team of volunteers to provide a safe environment that would allow for spiritual growth and relationships. They would organize events and camps for this age group. The Children’s Pastor would build relationships with the children as well as their parents. Also, they would be involved and act as a vital part of the lives of the people at Grace Church. Depending on the person hired, time available and gifting the Children’s Pastor may also be hired to administrate the volunteers, curriculum and behind the scenes work of the Kingdom Kidz ministry (ages 4-6 yrs). They would also train an assistant to facilitate and oversee the Sunday morning services.
