Life Long Learning

SCU is committed to the concept of fostering life long learning skills among students. This is especially important among students who are attending remotely or from a distance.

One of the chief goals is to connect current students and alums with their local information providers.

Thus we encourage the development of behaviors which will utilize local public libraries and academic libraries as a means of answering their ongoing information needs through the stages of life.

Distance Learning Library Services Text

The ACRL defines 'distance learning library services' as those supporting programs/courses offered away from the main campus.  As a result, distance learning library services' at SCU are those services provided to support learning activities for students utilizing academic programs offered at other sites and offered online.
