My name is Professor Isabelle Tellkamp-McClung.
I currently teach various business and foreign language classes at Southwestern Christian University and Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma.
I hold an undergraduate degree in business from Mississippi University for Women, a Master of Business Administration degree from Mississippi State University, and a Master of Arts in French degree from Mississippi State University. While at Mississippi State University, I also taught classes in the College of Arts and Sciences as a teaching assistant to the Chair of the Foreign Languages Department.
I have gained acceptance to the PhD in Business program at Capella University and have completed twelve hours of course work towards my Business degree with an emphasis on Marketing. I am currently enrolled for the session beginning Fall of 2011.
I spent my childhood and early adult years in Germany, France, and South Africa. Additionally, I have travelled extensively around the world as a representative of the South African Junior National Tennis Squad and on personal travels. I am fluent in English, French, German, Dutch and Afrikaans. I am also able to speak two African languages; Zulu and Northern Zuthu.
My life has offered me many opportunities to appreciate various peoples, and my desire is to continue to learn and grow as a human being. I am knowledgeable of many different cultures around the world and understand that each one has different viewpoints and expectations. More importantly, my beliefs coincide with the Christian beliefs of the Universities I teach at. I am a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene and I strive to lead a life that reflects the teachings of the Bible to those around me. My husband and I keep a Christian household and we strengthen and support one another in our daily walk. I am a very motivated person and my desire is to channel my efforts andskills into teaching young students and to provide them with the best education possible.
Blessings,
