Lady Eagle Coach
Becky Mitchell is entering her seventh season as head coach of
the lady eagle’s basketball team. Becky attended Grace Christian
high school where she excelled in volleyball and basketball. She
was named to the Oklahoma Christian School All-State teams in
both sports. After high school graduation, Becky played
collegiate basketball at Evangel University in Springfield,
Missouri, from 1993-97.
Coach Mitchell’s father has coached in Oklahoma high schools his entire life;
this has allowed her the opportunity of learning the game first hand. Coach
Mitchell is a hard worker and expects the same from her players. In 2007-08, the
lady eagles reached the NCCAA national tournament for the first time in school
history.
Becky is married to Bryan Mitchell, and they have three daughters.
