Coach Parent landed at SCU in the fall of 2004. He was hired by SCU to start and build the institutions first cross-country & track and field program.  Coach Parent now enters his fifth season at the helm and is beginning to see the fruits of his labor. Not only is the program growing, gaining strength, and receiving notoriety, but in the spring of 2007 the ladies team finished 9th at the NCCAA national track & field championships. He also developed his first national champion in SCU history.

SCU is very fortunate to have a man of this caliber leading the track program. He brings and incredible amount of experience and does a wonderful job of teaching the track athletes about life.
