The Southwestern Heritage Fund

The Heritage Continues…

Southwestern Christian University has a host of friends, family, and alumni that makes us extremely rich in heritage. However, being rich in heritage alone cannot move this institution to the educational platform that our vision encompasses. To achieve our vision, we need our family of friends and alumni to join the Southwestern Heritage Fund.

With college expenses continuing to rise, tuition alone is not enough to pay the escalating costs of providing an education. Each semester, there is a growing number of accepted students choosing other institutions because we could not offer significant scholarships and financial aid.

While the national average of alumni actively involved in fundraising at their alma mater is around forty percent, Southwestern is only achieving an average of 3.5 percent. We have initiated the “Heritage Fund” in hopes of increasing alumni and friend participation to at least 10 percent this year. Since I am certain that you love Southwestern and what it stands for, and because our greatest need is to increase annual unrestricted funds, I am hoping that you will do a small part and join many others in the “Southwestern Heritage Fund.”
