Jess Chen is a 2009 graduate of Southwestern Christian University. She is now employed full-time by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber in the economic development division. At the chamber, Jess works to recruit businesses to Oklahoma City, develops the local entrepreneurships and the bioscience communities, and promotes local development initiatives like MAPS 3. Jess began as a chamber intern in January '09 and became a full-time employee eight months later.
 
While at SCU, Jess also interned for The Oklahoman's editorial board, writing editorials and handling Letters to the Editor.
 
She graduated summa cum laude from SCU with her B.A. in English.
